Giorgio Toccacelli, born in Castelfidardo, Italy, in 1954, is an artist with a rich background as a cartoonist and satirical illustrator.
Early in his career, he contributed cartoons and caricatures to various newspapers and participated in important events such as the International Museum of Caricature in Tolentino and the Biennale dell’Umorismo (Humor Biennale), gaining recognition for his sharp wit and playful visual commentary.
His work has been celebrated in dedicated exhibitions such as “Tuffo nel colore” (A Dive into Color) and “Nascosto nella tela” (Hidden in the Canvas)—the latter named after his distinctive signature feature: inserting a small self-portrait hidden within each of his paintings.
