The poetics of the fragment by Lucio Monaco curated by Andrea Viozzi
Lucio Monaco is a painter. Born in 1957, he lives and works in Mosciano Sant’angelo (TE).
After attending the San Berardo Art High School in Teramo, he moved to Lombardy for work and began taking life drawing lessons from the Comaschi Masters. His research shows some reference to American Pop Art; however, it has a very personal evolution that makes his works immediately identifiable.
His latest appearances: 57th Venice Biennale Molise pavilion; Sulmona Prize XLI, XLIII through XLIX by invitation; Amsterdam fair in Holland; International art exhibition Baia Mare museum in Romania; International Pop Art group exhibition Bahrain-Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, invited by Pescarart curated by Giancarlo Costanzo to international-level exhibitions.
