A multifaceted artist, he paints, sculpts, creates, dedicates himself to design, and began his artistic career in the early 1980s in Notaresco, in the province of Teramo, his hometown. He met Remo Brindisi, while maintaining different stylistic expressions, and associated with several Abruzzese artists with whom he founded the Images group in 1985.

In these decades of artistic activity, in addition to numerous important exhibitions, he is particularly committed to the search for an “artistic expression aimed at generating impact and transcendental reflection. This translates daily onto canvas, wood, and sculptural materials, and is also manifested with evident success in performances: among the most notable, ‘The Crucifixion’ in Bari in 1988 and, subsequently, ‘We Are Not All Chickens’ in Teramo. More recent is ‘After the miracle’, one of his latest public sculptural works: a female mannequin in white marble on a five-meter-high steel chair.”

In the last five years, he has successfully reached an international audience, especially in California, Great Britain, and Germany.

Over time, his production has been distinguished by several cycles, from the initial figurative work with surreal flavors to the almost abstract “Springs” of the early 1990s. During this period, his work is characterized by the concept of Assempaforismo (a successful apodictic pictorial assemblage), an “expression based on the” analysis of the relationship between materials, spaces, and colors.

In the early 2000s, he dedicated himself to digital art, of which the “Sarchiaponi” represent the highest expression; his stylistic maturation was realized with the cycle of “Pours,” or poured enamels on large flat surfaces, a technique that can be associated with drip painting. Additionally, references to Pop Art can always be found in every phase of his production over time.

Title – The liquid rainbow

Technique: inkjet and acrylic lacquer, giclée on Fabriano paper 400 grams

60x43x02 cm

year 2022

limited edition of 96 numbered copies, signed with artist’s certificate

the available copy number may vary from 01 to 96

[731
1538
882,1564,845,887,1562,1540,850,852,901,1539,1561,1565,799,1563
post-15833","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_brand-giuseppe-fortunato","product_cat-multiple","product_tag-acquistare-opera-darte","product_tag-artists-print","product_tag-artista","product_tag-artista-famoso","product_tag-authentic","product_tag-bonaschi-en","product_tag-collezione","product_tag-fortunato","product_tag-giclee","product_tag-giuseppe-fortunato-en","product_tag-limited-edition-multiple","product_tag-original","product_tag-quadro","product_tag-with-certificate","pa_frame-without-frame","pa_medium-acrylic-lacquer-pigmented-jett-ink-giclee","pa_stile-contemporary-en-2","pa_stile-pop-art","pa_support-cardboard","first","instock","sold-individually","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
["GET
