Luciano Astolfi was born in 1960 in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy.
After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila under the guidance of Gino Marotta, he took part in the theatrical performance Gran Serata Futuristica by Fabio Mauri, both as a set designer and actor, staged in prestigious venues such as Teatro Nuovo in Milan, Teatro Olimpico in Rome, and Teatro Comunale in L’Aquila.
Astolfi also appeared in the film Una città per la musica by Bruno Vesta and M. Warren, and in 1985 directed the performance Image and Sounds on a Summer Evening at the Villa Comunale Park in Roseto. He was a finalist for the Lubian Prize, chaired by Renato Guttuso, and in 1979 won first prize in graphics at the G. D’Annunzio Prize.
He is the author of the sculpture La Rosa d’Oro, awarded to prominent figures in sports, entertainment, and culture in the Abruzzo region. His works are featured in several museums, including the Ugo Guidi and Gilardi Museums in Forte dei Marmi, the Michetti Museum in Francavilla al Mare, the Barbella Museum in Chieti, Palazzo Bastogi in Florence, the Estense Castle in Ferrara, the Civitella del Tronto Fortress, the Colonna Museum and Aurum in Pescara, the Hôtel de Paris Museum in Monte Carlo, the Zisa Cultural Shipyards in Palermo, Palazzo Bramante in Rome, and the Simone Gallery in Bratislava.
